ABOUT ELLIE
At the young age of 10, singer/actress/performer Ellie Smith is already known throughout Nevada as the little girl with a big voice.
Locally nicknamed the “Star-Spangled Girl,” Ellie has sung the national anthem for the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Sacramento Kings,
the Dallas Mavericks,
NBA Summer league and Santa Anita Race Track, as well for all University of Nevada, Las Vegas sports events.
With an innate passion for music evident in her earliest years, Ellie was trying to sing even before she could speak. Her passion and desire to learn have powered her growth as a singer, and her natural ease on a stage has set her apart even in the largest crowds. Already astounding mature and experienced audiences, Ellie has performed before crowds of thousands, which have even included prominent political figures in Nevada.
In addition to her singing abilities, for which she has consistently won multiple first place awards and special recognition from judges, Ellie is no stranger to acting. At age 8, she appeared with Sally Struthers in the Nevada Performing Arts production of “Annie,” and later starred as Annie in another local production.
Although industry professionals have recommended Ellie relocate immediately to Los Angeles or New York to further her career, Rick and Geri Smith, Ellie’s parents, have made clear their goal to balance Ellie’s time pursuing an entertainment career with living a normal childhood and doing well in school. The family does make occasional out-of-state trips for performance-specific opportunities.
Ellie is simply one little girl with one big voice and is one amazing performer! |
